I started working on a comic that doesn't have a name yet, in which I tell the story of Bauik and Ciro's childhood on Side C ( the fantasy dimension) of my imaginary world. I'm trying out different styles and organizing things in the universe in the meantime, trying to publish two pages a week on Mastodon (in Spanish) and on my Pillowfort blog (in English), with their respective delays. Right now, I'm having technical and work-related problems, so it's on hold (hopefully only briefly). It will be published as a pdf on Itch.io once the first chapter is finished, and as a printed physical zine on my shop.
The plan is still on: I want to make a zine that has a visual novel, which tries to solve a crime and has dating stuff in it. I'm still doing the necessary detective work. I miscalculated, and this is going to take a little longer than planned (it seems that committing a crime in the dream world isn't so easy).
From what I heard, there was some drama, and in this volume, Anonymous, the translator for the Starfish Collective, got angry with Huma, the group's writer, and now doesn't want to translate her texts into Earth languages. I don't know what will come of this, but I was told that Parche, the comic book artist and writer, took over this volume, at least in part, until Huma and Anon manage to resolve their conflict.
I'm still thinking about opening a little shop selling printed items, including zines, art prints, and stickers, as well as more unusual things. I have in mind letters and postcards signed by U3P characters, or that can be sent from inside the U3P to anyone on Earth.
The first volume was a zine, this second one is starting to take shape as a logbook. Right now, I'm leaning more towards binding it the old-fashioned way. I've already made a bookbinding loom especially for this project. My idea is for the book itself to be a monster. I'll see how I'm going to decorate it.
The tour of the ground floor of Sand Castle is now complete. I am in the slow and agonizing task of translating it into English, and after that I will probably continue with the first floor.
